PromptAI ("we", "our", or "the app") is an AI prompt discovery and management application developed by SwiftMind. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use PromptAI on your Android device.

By using PromptAI, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

🔒 4. Data Storage & Security

• Your login token is stored using Flutter Secure Storage, which is backed by the Android Keystore — it is never written to plain shared preferences or local files.
• Account data (username, email, hashed password) is stored on our secured server. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
• Uploaded images are stored in an AWS S3 bucket with restricted access policies. Only admin-uploaded images are stored; regular users do not upload files.
• All API communication uses HTTPS (TLS) to prevent interception in transit.

PromptAI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate account information.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt-out — stop using the app at any time; your session token is removed from your device when you log out.

🕒 8. Data Retention

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• If you request account deletion, your email, username, and saved favourites will be permanently removed within 30 days.
• Anonymous view-count data is retained indefinitely as it contains no personally identifiable information.
• Uploaded images are removed from AWS S3 within 30 days of a deletion request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of PromptAI after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
